Therapeutic Equine Activities
Random Canyon Riding Program, Inc. offers purposeful, goal-oriented riding and horsemanship designed to enhance physical strength, emotional well-being, and cognitive growth.
Individual Riding Lessons
One-on-one sessions tailored directly to the rider's physical, sensory, or emotional goals. Perfect for developing balance, core strength, and fine motor skills with personalized volunteer support.
Group Riding Sessions
Small-group sessions promoting camaraderie, social connection, and collaborative horsemanship skills in an encouraging, fun peer environment.
Equine-Assisted Learning
Unmounted groundwork focusing on grooming, handling, and nonverbal horse communication to foster self-confidence, trust, and emotional regulation.
Operating Schedule & Seasons
We offer structured sessions throughout the year to accommodate our participants' unique routines and physical therapy needs.
Session Availability
Individual Sessions
Year-Round: Scheduled throughout the week by appointment to fit family and rider schedules.
Group Sessions
Weekly Days: Wednesday evenings and Thursday evenings.
Seasonal Schedule:
- Spring Season: Approximately March through June
- Fall Season: Approximately August through November
Location & Facilities
Sessions are held at 15 Costenbader Ln, Selinsgrove, PA 17870, featuring safe riding arenas and sensory trail environments.

We welcome participants of all ages with diverse physical, cognitive, sensory, and emotional needs.

Session Pricing
Therapeutic riding lessons and sessions are $20 for a half hour.
Affordability & Need-Based Scholarships
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Random Canyon Riding Program, Inc. believes financial circumstances should never prevent an individual from benefiting from equine therapy. Need-based scholarships and subsidized rates are available through the generous contributions of our donors.
